James Ross Lancaster LL.B. LL.M.

James obtained his bachelor and master of laws in London and Cardiff before obtaining his Diploma of Legal Practice at The College of Law in Chester. He was admitted to the Rolls as a solicitor in 1999.

Prior to admission he was a qualified adviser within the Citizen’s Advice Bureau between 1993 to 1996. He managed two CAB offices in Hampshire between 1996 to 1998.

He has since been involved with the Miner’s Respiratory Disease Litigation, been a partner with Spicketts in Pontypridd, a Senior Supervising Solicitor with Morgans in Cardiff. Throughout 2007, he briefed Assembly Ministers, the First Minister and the Deputy First Minister whilst engaged with the Welsh Assembly Government.

James has experience of matters of Commercial Law, Criminal Law, Debt & Insolvency Law, Employment Law, General Litigation, Landlord & Tenant Law, Personal Injury Litigation, Welfare Law, Wills & Probate. He has represented clients in the Civil and Criminal courts and Welfare and Employment Tribunals throughout the UK.
