Graduated in law in July 2001 from Swansea University
Joined Jordans company formation agent straight from university as a trademark legal assistant specialising in all aspects of trademark registration. During this time I also studied part time during the evenings and weekends for the legal practice course, graduating in July 2004 from the University of the West of England, Bristol.
In July 2004 I joined fwd in the residential property services department as a legal assistant and later as a trainee solicitor
After finishing my training contract (finally!) I qualified as a solicitor in January 2007.
I now work in the business services section which includes company formations, registration of trademarks and commercial property. My particular specialisation since qualifying has been commercial property.
Outside of work I am also a fully qualified interior designer and also a qualified nail technican - both obviously essential skills which I can use in being a commercial solicitor!
I am due to become a mum in January 2008 and intend to return to work full time during the latter part of 2008. I am looking forward to the challenges of motherhood and juggling those with the challenges of work.
