Conveyancing and your Deposit by FDW Law
On exchange of contracts on a purchase it is usual to pay the sellers solicitors a deposit of 10% of the purchase price.
In the majority of cases this sum is not readily available and if this is the case please let us knows as other arrangements can usually be made. Please note however that if, following exchange of contracts the matter does not proceed then a 10% deposit becomes due and payable.
